International Supply Chain Conference 2022
Supply Chains matter!
The International Supply Chain Congress has been the networking event for all top executives in logistics and supply chain management for decades. The international community meets annually in Berlin to exchange knowledge and experiences, to learn from the best and to define the logistics agenda for the coming years: More than 3,000 participants from over 40 nations come together in real and digital terms. The focus is on personal contact as well as the top-class specialist presentations, workshops and the presence of numerous companies in the accompanying exhibition. A highlight each year during the congress is also the presentation of the German Logistics Award, which honors innovations in the field of supply chain management and logistics.
At the congress, all important topics, trends and developments in the economic sector such as digitalization, new technologies, sustainability, artificial intelligence, intralogistics, circular economy, cyber security or even political framework conditions such as the Supply Chain Act will be addressed and discussed in plenary lectures and specialist sequences.
Registration for the congress is now open.
In 2022, the economic sector of logistics and thus also the International Supply Chain Congress are more relevant than ever. In two years of the pandemic, it has become clear to many people, even outside the logistics sector, what a significant contribution logistics makes to security of supply. Disruptions in supply chains have been prominently featured in the media. And even though there were massive delays and delivery problems for certain products, the dramatic scenarios of empty shelves and gas stations with no fuel did not materialize at all – impressive proof of the efficiency of logistics even and especially in times of crisis. Despite all adversity, logistics players have created solutions every day and demonstrated their systemic relevance. Logistics is modern, innovative and attractive – also as an employer. Logistics should also show this. BVL has therefore chosen “Supply Chains matter!” as its annual and congress motto in order to underline the relevance and solution competence of the economic sector with ‘healthy’ self-confidence. We look forward to sending this signal, especially from the International Supply Chain Congress in October, together with you from Berlin.
