ELA’s representation at ESG Forum, Prague, 13/03/2024
ELA, which aims to facilitate the international exchange of information, know-how and expertise, was also represented at the ESG Forum under the subtitle For a More Sustainable World: Business at the Crossroads, a conference platform focusing on business sustainability strategies in logistics.
The conference, which featured Mirek Rumler, ELA Vice President, as moderator of the session on ESG principles of non-financial reporting in transport logistics, highlighted technological innovations and strategies for more sustainable and efficient fleet and logistics operations. The discussion included the use of alternative drives, energy sources and technological practices, with an emphasis on the balance between reducing environmental impact on the one hand and economic sustainability on the other.
A total of 150 logistics professionals attended the conference, which was held in Prague. A total of 17 speakers representing the different links of the supply chain, including senior executives from PwC, Cushman Wakefield, Dachser, Gebrüder Weiss, Volvo Trucks, Orlen Unipetrol, GasNet, Prologis, Panattoni, etc., made individual presentations and participated in two broad panel discussions. https://www.reliant.eu/technologicka/
